No, only an employee number (unique identifier) for each employee is required. Each employee has to be uniquely identified to ensure duplicate entries are not added and an employee can be tracked year over year. Although the Compensation tool has significant security measures in place, If you are concerned about security of compensation data feel free to use any unique identifier you choose to ensure no personal information can be accessed.
