The Calc. Type stands for Calculation type and determines how the points for a sub factor are determined. To edit the Calc. Type click the triangle on the right side of the cell in the Calc. Type column to activate the drop-down and select the appropriate type.
Zero-Based: Distributes points evenly across all levels and half levels
Weight Based: Distributes points evenly across all levels after setting level 1 to 10% of total points – thus the minimum evaluation score would be 100 in a 1000 point table if all factors were evaluated as 1s.
Custom: Allows you enter any value for any level or half level that is within the maximum point total for the sub factor.
