Levels determines the numbers of separate levels / parts your sub factor is broken down into.  Each level should represent a distinguishable difference from the previous level and each sub factor should contain enough levels to accommodate all Jobs in your organization.  For example, the Standard HCI sub factor for education contains 9 levels, with the 9th level being PH. D., if you organization does not have any jobs that required a PH. D. you may choose to remove this level and redistribute the points accordingly, however you may also choose to leave the levels in order to accommodate for future expansion.

To edit Levels click the blue number to activate and change the number accordingly.

Note: if you have custom points you will need to manually update the points accordingly.

Note: if you reduce or increase the number of levels you may also need to make changes to the associated sub factor rationale.
