Proportional Value is applied to female Job Classes to determine a male comparator Job Rate when no other methods of comparison are available.  Proportion Value uses a selected group of male Job Classes to create a Male Pay Line and plot the female Job Class point total or band midpoint on Male Pay Line to determine what the Job Class would be paid as a male Job Class.  This value is then used as the Male Comparator Job Rate value and compared the the female Job Class Job Rate to determine if any adjustments are required.
